The scammers will will tell you anything so that you send them money and get scammed.
Hundreds if not thousands of people get scammed every year by people operating on these websites.
The advert will offer tickets at cheap or prices low enough to get your attention. The normal process is that you phone/email the seller and they then advise you that they have the tickets but are not available to meet as they are working/living many miles away from Liverpool. We have seen fraudsters say they are as far south Devon and as far north as the Shetland Islands. They will request you to send them money or a deposit either Western Union, UKash or a direct bank transfer. They will then tell you that they will send you the tickets. They will then turn their phone off, £250 richer.
When people are desperate for tickets they will believe anything that you tell them so please be aware. Whilst this doesn’t happen much for Everton football tickets, this is always the possibility that for high demand games. Obviously there are always good tickets on these websites but from our feedback we would avoid it.
Hotels near Goodison Park
Goodison Park Stadium, is not located in an area with many hotels and activities for tourists. The best hotels in Liverpool however are located nearby in the city centre, see the booking website here. The stadium can be accessed by public transport or via taxi and is not a long distance from the hotels in the city. It is recommended to probably get the the stadium 2 hours before kick-off to enjoy the pre-match buildup and the hype of the game.
